Some stories are knitted before they're ever told

MEMORY
The Story That Stays
It began with her cardigan.
Hand-knitted, much loved, and worn for years, it became more than something to wear.
It held memory, comfort, and a connection that remained long after.
Lessons grew from that feeling and the belief that the things we wear can become part of our story.

Made Slowly
Quality cannot be rushed
Each Lessons piece is hand-knitted in Peru, one stitch at a time.
Intricate intarsia patterns are worked directly into the knit by hand, before each cardigan is finished in London with traditional English pewter buttons.
Made slowly, because some things are worth taking time over.
The result is knitwear that feels individual, not industrial.
Material
100% Andean Highland wool
Natural, warm and full of character, our wool is chosen for its durability as much as its feel. A beautiful natural fibre designed to be worn, loved and lived in for years.
Process
From Peru to London
Each piece begins in Ayacucho, where skilled knitters bring designs to life using traditional hand knitting and intarsia techniques. Finished in London, they unite Peruvian craftsmanship with British detail.
People
Made by hands, not machines
Lessons works with skilled artisans and a women’s cooperative in Peru. Each piece carries the skill and time of its maker, supporting craftsmanship, meaningful work, and traditions worth preserving.
Design
Made for whoever makes it theirs
Bold colour, graphic intarsia, and relaxed genderless silhouettes. Designed without rules about who should wear what, made to gather character, memory, and story over time.
